Time Doctor now Citrix Ready

What does it do?

Time Doctor has passed the rigorous testing stages needed to become a Citrix Ready partner. What this means is that it isnow easier than ever to improve productivity with Time Doctor in even the very largest of companies.

Without Citrix’s virtual desktop and application delivery system, companies would need to install all programs individually on every computer in their organization - an insurmountable task when you have thousands or tens of thousands of computer terminals. Citrix’s XenApp and XenDesktop solutions lets you install your programs (such as Time Doctor) onto a single server machine, and have all employees utilize those programs without actually installing Time Doctor locally.

How does it work?

This is not your typical integration with a 3rd party tool. You’ll first need to have Citrix XenApp or XenDesktop deployed in your organization. Then follow the instructions found in our support center instructions found in our support center to install Time Doctor on your servers. Each end user will then use the Citrix Receiver tool to run a virtual desktop to perform their daily work. Time Doctor will be installed on that virtual desktop without any action needed from the end user.

Log in / logout systems may tell you when someone shows up, but they don’t tell you what the person was doing, what programs they were using, or what websites they visited while on the clock. Time Doctor captures all this and a host of other accurate productivity metrics then collates the data into actionable, precise reports. The data is also available to the employees along with popups and reminders for immediate positive feedback to improve individual productivity with minimal managerial oversight.
