He had a productive and content, often joyful life. Aged 65 he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and he faced his death with a combination of humour and dignity. My brother and myself were with him at the end: a peaceful untethering of his life and he just drifted away.
I’ve been intellectually a Buddhist for most of my life but now I identify with a practice of Soto Zen. Death is just another part of life, a return to the nurturing and wonderful universe. Thanks for this !❤️
