If I had to add a number 7, it would be to “Listen to Your Customers”. They will tell you what they want to buy and how they want to buy. If you find yourself reaching for “the catalog” you’ve lost the opportunity to elevate the conversation. If you are asking the right questions around legacy and remembrance your customers will enlighten you in ways you may not expect. Then be prepared to serve.
