By: Michele Robertson https://blog.funeralone.com/funeralone-products/f1connect-website-platform/funeral-home-website-quiz-2/#comment-847865 Wed, 22 Sep 2021 07:56:22 +0000 https://blog.funeralone.com/?p=13980#comment-847865 I forgot to also ask with the last comment I made just now we have a family burial plots and I know the rules out there I think the only difference is is a casket has to not have a seal out there however if it’s buried in a church cemetery I think a seal has to be around the casket I’m not very familiar with it infant casket so that’s why I was wondering what is your part as a funeral home and how much would it cost and my main goal is just to have my infant close to me for as long as possible and my arms until I place her to lay the rest thank you for your information and yes I see that I am repeating myself I just reread this text you have to understand I’m about to give birth to my infant daughter who is severely handicapped and probably will not make it we all pray that she will though I myself am 51 years old and had problems throughout the pregnancy so please forgive the fact that I’m repeating myself I’m a single mother with three grown daughters and I don’t expect the best from what the doctors tell me I’ll come for my infant baby so I’m trying to do what I can by myself without my family’s help because I don’t want to depend on my children who are grown or anybody else financially I can handle it for the most part I myself have set up my own funeral arrangements 6 years ago but I’m just not aware of how much it’s gone up back then my total cost for my funeral which is just basic I don’t want anything fancy was right at $10,000 or a little above I pay cash for mine so my kids won’t have to worry about it this was unexpected and you know what God is good so who knows I just do not want my child to suffer or my other children to suffer or my family to suffer more than they have to I myself am trying to stay focused on what’s going on around me I just need answers so I can jot it down in my spiral and go online and see what I have to do which is what I’m doing right now to try to keep my mind busy it helps although it does seem a little premeditated and morbid like I said I was in my 40s when I went to do all my funeral arrangements by myself I did not want to burden my kids because I am the only child of my parents and my mother has severe health issues as well and I’m the one who has to take care of her and it is very difficult not that I didn’t want to do it it’s just that she’s very difficult but I love her anyway so I just didn’t want to burden anybody with this except myself I want to do it my way yes as selfish as that sounds just as long as she’s in my arms and I have that feeling that she’s being laid to rest by me nothing fancy just her little pink dress and socks and her bow in her hair my dream for her
